Jumping To Conclusions After One Week of College Football

1. LSU is really really good. The Tigers may still miss Jordan Jefferson down the line, but at least for now, not missing a beat.

2. Boise State could be playing in the BSC championship game. Not saying they are one of the best teams in the country, but they certainly can go undefeated the rest of the way.

3, DUKE football is still DUKE football- bad. Lose again to Richmond. Yes, the Richmond Spiders.

4. If BC can't beat Northwestern without Dan Persa, then either BC is pretty bad or Northwestern could be really good.

Possible Trouble For LSU Football!

Just when I was thinking of going with LSU as my preseason #1 in college football, this report comes out. If QB Jordan Jefferson gets suspended for any games (LSU plays Oregon in its second game), its national championship hopes suffer a severe blow.

Jim Tressel Made it an Interesting Memorial Day

http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2011/magazine/05/30/jim.tressel/index.html?eref=sihp&sct=hp_t11_a2

Read the SI article that pretty much forced Tressel's and Ohio State's hands. Pryor has in all likelihood played his last hand for OSU. Much more will come out in the coming weeks.
